Nothing runs without a yes.

We’re building Semblanse around your permission. Here is the planned campaign workflow: account checks, recorded consent, limits on use and approval before launch. Pilot applications use the DM check below.

Four checks before an ad runs.

  1. Identity

For the pilot application, send the Instagram DM shown after applying so we can check control of that account. Instagram sign-in is planned for the future product. Before a campaign, we will separately check your samples and authority to license them.

On record: The pilot account check and later campaign-specific confirmations

  2. Consent

Every campaign gets its own signed licence. It names one brand and states where the ads can run, for how long, and what you’re paid. No licence, no ad.

    On record: The signed licence

  3. Limits

You choose the stories you’ll share, and the brands, topics and product claims you won’t touch. Scripts use only those stories and stay within those limits.

On record: Your stories and limits, as you gave them

  4. Approval

You see each final version before it runs. Approve it, ask for changes or decline. Silence is never approval.

On record: Your decision on every version

Pre-launchOur team will carry out the pilot checks. We’re building an online account where you’ll see and do this yourself.

A licence never lets a brand

  • train AI on your samples.

No campaign licence includes training rights.

  • use you outside the campaign.

Another brand, product, channel or territory needs a new licence and a new yes.

  • run past the end date.

The brand must stop running the ads when the licence ends. Renewal needs your agreement.

  • run an ad you haven’t approved.

Only the version you approved can run. A changed ad needs approval again.

  • make claims you ruled out.

If you ruled out a topic or a product claim, it stays out of the script.

How do advertisers use creator samples?

Before you share samples, we’ll name the production team and tools that may process them for your campaign. Brands will receive approved outputs and licence records; any generation access must stay within the agreed scope. Raw samples and reusable models are not an automatic part of the licence.

Report misuse, or ask us to get an ad taken down.

Seen an ad that uses your likeness, or someone else’s, without approval? Tell us. You don’t need to be a Semblanse creator.

What happens next

We check the record.

Each licence is signed and tracked, so we compare the ad with what was agreed.

We tell the brand to stop.

If the ad was made under a Semblanse licence, the brand has to take it down. If it wasn’t, we’ll tell you how to report it to the platform.

We tell you what happened.

You hear what we found and what was done. A person reads every report. We’re still setting formal response times.

Send a report.

What are you reporting?

We use these details only to look into your report.

Keep one campaign record.

Our planned record connects the verified parties, creator context, permitted identity elements, tools and sample access, campaign term and accounts, exact approved files, payment decisions and expiry owner. These campaign procedures are planned and would be run by our team. The website already records enquiries; that does not establish a completed licensing system. The intended licence grants no training rights to a brand. Campaign processing or model setup needs its own explanation, tool review and permission. We cannot promise to prevent every misuse or delete every third-party copy.
